Christchurch Neighbourhood Plan Consultations

Under the Old Town Hall, 30 High Street, Christchurch, BH23 1EA

Saturday 5th November 2022 (from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm)

Monday 7th November 2022 (from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm)

Christchurch Town Council would like to invite all residents and businesses associated with the town to find out more about the progress of the Christchurch Town Neighbourhood Plan and to share their views on the ongoing plan.

Following the initial scoping survey in February/March 2021, the Christchurch Neighbourhood Plan Working Group has been busy gathering evidence, conducting site research and engaging with various stakeholders regarding the key themes identified through the scoping survey. The Working Group is now looking to listen to residents’ views on the work done, through public consultations that will be held on 5th and 7th November under the Old Town Hall.

Online Surveys

For those unable to visit the Old Town Hall consultations, we had our online surveys which were live until Friday, 30th December 2022.

Hard copy surveys were also available on request.

Scoping Survey (February - March 2021)

A Neighbourhood Plan can cover lots of issues, or focus on just one or two key issues. The more it covers, the more time it may take to prepare!

So before we start our journey, our first step is to find out what is most important to our residents, businesses and visitors. From this we will work out what our plan most needs to talk about.
